Distilled, but there's acidity, herbal notes, vanilla, plenty of raisins, and slight minerality. However, it's pleasant to smell and the distillate isn't strongly noticeable. At 4.7 ABV, the alcohol burns, but the sweetness balances it very well. The herbal notes are distinct, as is the vanilla and wood. For a distillate, it's very drinkable. It's a shame it's not more complex. 4.5 overall.
