I bought this because it was on sale and I was curious. After one sip, I knew I had made a mistake. No detectable juniper. It tastes more like a peppery vodka.

About this bottle
Uncle Val's Peppered Gin arrived in 2015, marking the third bottling in 3 Badge Mixology's Uncle Val's Gin range. For its creation, four botanicals—juniper, red bell pepper, black pepper, and pimento—are steeped in a neutral grain spirit before the mixture undergoes distillation. The resulting gin is then bottled at a 45% ABV.

Certainly not for everyone; it's so peppery it nearly resembles dry salami. The balance is excellent, though, and it's an experience all gin enthusiasts should have at least once.
Quite strong. Lingering taste.
