Sage Allison 3.3

The nose has notes of vanilla, dark toffee, and a hint of orange marmalade. If you go too deep, the ethanol overwhelms anything else. The palate starts with brown sugar and vanilla, then briefly shows dark cherries and red berry jam before abruptly transitioning to barrel spice and cinnamon. It begins smooth and finishes a bit hot. This is a decent all-rounder that satisfies when you're unsure what you want, as it briefly touches on many quality bourbon flavors. Overall, it's pretty okay, but for $50, there are many comparable options that are cheaper and arguably better.

Sanford Mancini 4.3

Perhaps my sense of smell is off today, as I didn't detect the usual distinct aromas from this. It's a nice, smooth whiskey with a slight warmth on the tongue that dissipates well. The consistency is full and somewhat thick, coating the mouth pleasantly without any lasting aftertaste, except for a faint hint of fruitiness near the end. As far as whiskies go, it's a good one to keep on hand.

Johnny Ali 2.8

A significant amount of earthiness and barnyard notes come through on the aroma, mixed with some vanilla. On the palate, the vanilla is the dominant flavor, and the proof provides a considerable kick. The finish is short to medium with nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it's adequate, but not one I frequently choose or would repurchase.

Edgar Grossman 3.0

Another Bourbon Share bottle. Honestly, just a bit disappointing. Had enjoyed their 1884 Small Batch, so I anticipated this to be an upgrade. Nothing remarkable to mention. It's not bad, just not particularly special either. It seems there are better options available at this price point.

Ryan Goldberg 1.8

Is it superior to Jack Daniel's, Wild Turkey, Maker's Mark, or any brand available at half the cost? No. I did not find it remotely smooth, contrary to many reviews. I can drink it over ice, and it served as acceptable post-work medicine.

Mitchel Keyes 3.3

The initial aroma has notes of charred corn and cloves. The first sip reveals light caramel and nutmeg with a spicy lingering sensation on the back of the tongue that fades into spicy apple notes.
