Quite disappointing. Perhaps this is the result of changing 5 casks in 4 years. Excessive alcohol flavor. This spirit, which I hesitate to label as whiskey, supposedly matured in 5 casks: port, red wine, calvados, Rhum, and a new cask. Sounds like chaos and confusion? Well, that's the profile of this spirit. A confused mess. And for the price (68 EUR for half a liter) it's a definite no! I'm truly let down as this was my initial experience with a French whiskey.
