Very well-made, likely the best Jura I've encountered at this price and age bracket. The aroma is the highlight: lightly peated, earthy, non-Islay style bonfire smoke. The taste is coastal, mildly smoky, with lemon, brine, and BBQ notes. A nice, long, warming finish. Perfect for when the temperature drops. I've sampled a few Jura expressions and often found the distillery bottlings to be subpar, while third-party independent bottlings are very well-made. It's peculiar that the best ones from this distinct distillery are independent bottlings. Considering the cost, this is exceptional. I believe I paid $80 before VAT. It's definitely a must-try if you have the opportunity.
