Triple R Russian River Rye

I had high hopes for this. It's just not to my taste. It has a somewhat dusty flavor. A higher proof would have improved it. Considering the cost, I won't buy it again. Better ryes are available for less.

Sampled at the shop, the aroma was minimal, but the palate offered distinct flavors and a pleasant warmth on the finish. A decent value for $35.

Smooth start, with a mild burn. Subtle flavors. Similar to Redemption Rye, but with gentler notes. A pleasant drinker.

Soft rye with sweet maple and a clove finish. I will repurchase for $32

Acceptable but unmemorable. Could be better for the cost.
