Young! A strong rye aroma, slightly rubbery, with a hint of smoke. The palate is thin but smooth with creamy vanilla, perhaps a touch of maple sweetness. The finish has a slight bite, reminding you it's whisky! Shows promise from the Perth distillers!
A decent blended 3-year-old. It's not a whisky I would choose to drink neat, but it would be excellent as a base for cocktails.
