Marc Loomis 4.0

A fantastic way to mark Canada's 150th! I savored this mellow whisky on July 1st, detecting notes of toasted sugars, a hint of vanilla, and well-rounded oak. While I often find Wiser's a touch sweet, this particular bottling offered a more enduring finish and a richer mouthfeel than some of their other selections I've sampled. Considering its current cost, it's a superb whisky for sipping!

Santiago Triplett 4.0

Incredibly thick and rich! It's wonderfully sweet and substantial. Like the caramelized topping on Creme Brule, this offers a pleasant burnt vanilla character and a satisfying spicy finish. I nearly detect pineapple cake on the aroma, but the palate is purely sweet caramel delight.

Bart Jeter 4.0

Delightful rye, vanilla, and caramel flavors with a touch of grassy character, exceptionally smooth:) A great introduction to the Canadian market.
