About this bottle
Alberta Distillers introduced this 30-year-old rye whisky in 2011, which sold out rapidly at $49.95 per bottle. The spirit is 100% rye, aged in charred white oak barrels. Four years prior to bottling, the distillery managed the angel's share by transferring the whisky to fewer barrels, effectively topping them up. A total of 8,400 bottles were produced, and occasional older bottles still surface for sale.
