Leslie Schmitz 4.3

This is a barrel pick from the Charlotte Bourbon Society. I'm very impressed by this one. It's a really nice rye. It didn't have much aroma when I first poured it, but it opened up nicely after a few minutes. This is the first pour, so I will taste it again in a few weeks.

Twila Tyson 3.8

The aroma is predominantly wheaty with a faint fruity note. The palate is oily and peppery, carrying hints of caramel and tart fruit. The finish intensifies the spice, lingering in the mouth.

Genesis Covarrubias 3.5

The aroma is entirely rye, and the palate presents as a robust, quality rye. I'm not typically a big fan, so discerning individual notes is challenging for me.

Nathanial Rogers 2.0

The aroma is piney, followed by a touch of sweetness on the palate.

Laura Maguire 3.8

Citrus and peppery notes. It's smooth for a rye, with minimal burn and excellent balance.

Kari Dennis 3.0

The aroma is clean. Slight tasting notes of leather and a caramel finish.
