Bath #12. Firstly, I appreciate the concept of locally sourced grain. Small batch should imply a concentrated flavor, which is what you get with this spirit. With a mash bill of 60% rye, 30% wheat, and 10% malted barley, and distilled in copper pot stills, we are pleased with a smooth, well-crafted dram. Cranberry, leather, and cigar box on the nose, rye on the tip of the tongue, wheat, and an all-spice finish with a lingering oak note. My favorite aspect is certainly the aroma. Raisins and cranberries are prominent, and for a rye, it's on the less spicy side of the spectrum, but certainly noticeable. A creamy texture makes it well worth the price. This whisky is worth seeking out! If you can locate it.. I would suggest trying Studio Bourbon from Minnesota if you enjoyed this flavor profile..

This one left me a bit puzzled; the aroma and taste are identical, featuring oak, sweetness, and pepper, with no harshness on either end.

This is a distinctive rye. It has a subtle rye spice, a malty character, perhaps caramel? The aroma is gentle.

A satisfactory rye, suitable for mixing, but drinking it straight is overwhelmingly ethanol with simple rye spice.

Nice balance of rye and the soft creaminess from the wheat. Apricot and spice. Batch #8

Quite enjoyable. I appreciate the cigar-like essence on the finish.
