Unfortunately, this whiskey attempts to mimic black coffee unsuccessfully. It's a miss. I detect faint coffee notes, which are pleasant but fleeting, lasting only a second. It was once a top-shelf whiskey in my area, but my goodness. This whiskey has an off-putting aroma and taste. I tried it neat, with a splash of coke, and even coffee couldn't mask its unpleasantness. A disappointing whiskey; improve it.
