Glen Ord Distillery stands as the sole remaining single malt Scotch producer on the Black Isle, situated in the Scottish Highlands. The Singleton was introduced in 2006, coinciding with a redesign of the Glen Ord Distillery's 12-year expression bottle. This whisky is exclusively sold in specific Asian markets and is accessible to visitors at the distillery.

An excellent dram, I appreciate my sherry-aged Scotches, and this spirit smells and tastes intensely sweet. Adding water reveals a caramel malt character. Nose: A rich, sweet aroma of raisins. Palate: Mild raisin notes with a smooth texture. Finish: More raisins accompanied by a brief touch of heat.
Unusual and quite distinctive. Perhaps the first time I've encountered a whisky that brings Champagne to mind - the aroma is wine-like with citrus zest. The palate has notes of honey and ginger, but the finish is nonexistent. Not bad.
The aroma offers vanilla and caramel, followed by dried fruits, oak, and a balanced peaty smoke. It concludes with dark chocolate. A truly delightful drink if you can find it!
Mediocre at best. As the name implies, the flavor is one-dimensional. It leans floral, with a familiar petal scent I can't quite identify. Smooth with hardly any lingering taste.
I don't really recall the flavor profile much, but it was a nice experience trying it at the distillery in Scotland.
