Adan Shipp 3.5

Some smoky notes reminiscent of peat. The majority of the flavor is on the front of the tongue, with a stronger alcohol burn than the ABV would suggest. It's not exceptional, but it's pleasant enough to warrant trying another offering from Lakes.

Dolores Saenz 1.5

A hint of vanilla, followed by warmth and spice, perhaps a bit of smoke and salt. However, it leaves a bitter aftertaste, and not in a pleasant way.

Bruno Troutman 4.0

The Lakes Distillery Cumbria, Steel Bonnets Blended Malt Whisky. Smoky. This was the fifth day of the 2019 Advent Calendar.

Duane Ralston 2.0

Vanilla is present. The nose and palate diverge significantly. It finishes with a persistent bitter aftertaste.

Carolina Gavin 1.8

The flavors are weak, starting with vanilla and ending with a lingering bitter aftertaste.

Devin Leon 2.8

Faint scent of grapes and fruit. Primarily oily and slightly herbaceous. Leaves a bitter aftertaste.
