Evangeline Reedy 4.0

The aroma is lovely. Salted caramel, orange peel, fresh salad greens, and rhubarb. The arrival is much less appealing, but equally intriguing. Sour notes overlaying sweetness. Unripe green apples. Wood spices and pepper. The finish is lengthy, fruity, and dry. This whiskey might not be for everyone and is certainly pricey for a 12-year-old, but the presentation in this bottling is outstanding, and its unique character and complexity justify the cost.

Diann Henry 4.5

Heavy, rich sherry fruit aroma. The palate is also dense. A smooth, full sensation. Tastes of syrup, nuts, prunes, raisins, and a touch of wood. The warmth continues for a while. An outstanding choice for sherry lovers.
