Glenrothes Halloween Edition was distilled on the occasion of Halloween in 2004. The single malt whisky was placed in first-fill sherry seasoned casks and matured for 13 years. This Halloween Edition bottling, released in September 2018, is restricted to 2202 bottles.

Nose: Notes of chocolate, mandarin orange, and fresh cinnamon bread. Palate: Creamy, sweet fruitiness with ginger spice. Finish: A long, drawn-out nutty flavor with a slight spicy tang. Overall, it's a pleasant sipper with well-integrated flavors.
2019, Sherry & Bourbon Season Cask Nose: Bourbon peat, wood, subtly faint. Taste: Slight bitterness of orange peel, sweetness like Laphroaig. Finish: Warm, with the smokiness of dying embers. Overall, it's easy to drink considering the alcohol content.
