Color: Burnt copper. Smell: Freshly baked raisin bread and toffee. Like candied nuts with mulled wine in a warm country kitchen. Taste: Cocoa powder, almonds, and dried apple slices. Reminds me of dates coated in brown sugar. Finish: Thick and chocolatey with a strong burn. Tastes like dark coffee, similar to espresso. With Water Added: It becomes lighter and longer, tasting like cinnamon babka and baked caramels. The finish is much smoother and creamier, almost like Baileys or coffee liqueur.
