Aberlour 1997 20 Year The Distillery Reserve Collection

Acquired this at the distillery in October, 2018. The aroma is absolutely amazing. Vanilla bean, bakery scents, chocolate, caramel, and dark fruit. On the palate, this remarkable whiskey is actually quite dry, yet still succulent with dark fruit. The finish seems to go on forever. I truly can't praise it enough.

Incredibly smooth. The cask strength demands dilution for drinkability. Packed with sherry and all the Scotch notes I adore. Unquestionably the finest Scotch I've ever experienced!
