Lina Shafer 3.8

Evaluated in a Glencairn spirits nosing glass. Aroma - Neat - Faint honey, mild leather, slightly resinous, very gentle and clean. After adding a drop of water... This has slightly amplified the leather. Taste - Neat - Honeysuckle, mild worn leather, slightly sharp, after adding a drop of water... Mild vanilla, more noticeable honey. Final thoughts - This is an easily drinkable bourbon. You won't find a lot of complexity here, but it delivers well on what it offers (honey and leather) in a very gentle and clean tasting manner. For $35.00 a bottle, this is a must-buy.

Jamison Cooley 3.3

Initially, it's spicy with black pepper notes. The spice fades quickly, revealing chocolate flavors. There are also hints of black licorice and toasted oak. Adding an ice cube brings out leather and tannic oak on the finish.

Leonardo Mello 3.8

Flavors of vanilla, angostura bitters, and Earl Grey tea. Pleasantly oily and tannic. A bittersweet cream soda finish.

Rufus Renner 4.0

Sweet finish. Corn at the forefront, with tastes of caramel and vanilla. No harshness. Lingers on the palate.

Kyrie Dodd 4.0

It's very vanilla-forward, but I'm not bothered by it.

Quinn Mancini 3.8

It's enjoyable, but if you come across the 10-year-old expression, that one is superior.
