Whispers on whiskybase have proposed it's a blend of Nikka malt and Kawasaki grain. Others have theorized it originates from a sake distillery, pointing to Eigashima, Saburomaru, and Hanyu as possibilities. Regardless of its origin, its quality is paramount.
