This particular bottling of Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master’s Select was launched as a tribute to Japanese life and culture. Its design and packaging feature the cherry blossom, royal carriage, and water stream, symbols of good fortune and prosperity. This blended whisky was chosen for inclusion in the "Explore the Whiskies of the World" collection, available at select international airports.

The contrast between the Hibiki 21 and this special edition was noticeable. While it shares many tastes, the subtle smokiness feels a little harsh (I'm not a fan of peat). Considering the cost, it might be a superior choice to the 21, but I'm uncertain.
An incredibly smooth spirit. Notes of vanilla and fruit. Accompanied by light spice and woody undertones. Vanilla, honey, and caramel are the primary tastes. Some orange and dark chocolate notes present. A brief but very full sensation. A delightful drink.
A nice nose of vanilla and white chocolate, with molasses too. It feels soft in the mouth but finishes hot, like a fiery chili. Tastes of cookies and vanilla. It burns at the end with a short aftertaste.
This has a more intense flavor and aroma than the standard Hibiki Harmony. Floral scent and taste with a touch of cherry.
