On the nose, it's light, with a barely perceptible hint of ethanol, quickly followed by a pot of honey – very sweet, very pleasant, and uncomplicated. The palate is slightly spicy, with subtle notes of apple and almond; the honey has faded, but it reappears on the finish alongside some smokiness. There's also a citrus aftertaste similar to a Brewdog IPA, but with very little heat, making it easy to drink quickly if desired. Overall, it's an uncomplicated yet well-crafted whisky, serving as an excellent foundation for new drinkers or those seeking a relaxing, pleasant, and simple drink.
