About this bottle

Tequila Ocho emphasizes terroir by selecting agaves from specific ranchos, like San Agustin near Jesús María, leased to the Camarena family for cultivation. This extra añejo expression is aged for 3 years in former American bourbon casks and presented at 80 proof. A limited, higher-proof single barrel bottling from this vintage and rancho is also available.

Amira Bills 5.0

Great stuff. Full of flavors like caramel, chocolate/espresso, oak, a little pepper, cherries, and caramelized agave. Zero burn. To top it all off, I got the last pour when I tried it, and it wasn't charged to the bill. It costs $30/pour on the tequila menu.

India Craft 4.0

The nose is floral, with a peppery taste that lingers briefly.

Anita Ness 4.3

Spicy notes mingle with chocolate flavors. Enjoyable, with a gentle finish.
