This Tequila El Mayor expression utilizes estate-grown 100% blue Weber agave and the "Jica Jima" production method, consistent with all El Mayor releases. It spends 38 months maturing in casks that previously held sherry. The tequila is bottled at 40% ABV and was available starting September 2021.

A smooth sipping Anejo. There's a slight pepper at the start but a soft finish with a pleasant, mildly sweet middle. This will remain in my collection for some time.
