Tequila and sherry complement each other well. With the inherent fruitiness of both, they combine into something that can often be greater than the sum of its parts. In this instance, it's a definite success. Sherry on the nose with a more subtle agave presence creates a bright and cheerful start. The taste also carries the sherry forward, but not to the point of overpowering the tequila. There's a warm nuttiness that blends with the oak, giving it a flavorful baked goods character. The finish is quite long with the agave coming through at the end.

The aroma is certainly rich. Chili pepper appears at the start, followed by some smoke and a hint of sweetness. The initial taste is an explosion of flavor with a creamy texture. Mild sweetness, pepper, and even a touch of cinnamon. In some ways, this resembles a fine rum. Overall, very complex and enjoyable. 4.15.

A slightly smoky aroma. The intricate flavor profile makes this a distinctive tequila.
