Templeton Rye Single Barrel (Jubulation)

This rye whiskey boasts a bold amber hue, the kind that would make other whiskeys envious if they possessed emotions. Merely gazing at this rye ignites a desire to imbibe. The aroma? It's singular, yet full of swagger. Toffee dominates, with the rye essentially challenging you: "Got a problem with that? Didn't think so." Take a sip, and the toffee returns, accompanied by a playful blend of oak and vanilla, plus a zesty rye punch that declares, "Yep, I'm awesome—what are you gonna do about it?" My response was to continue drinking it. It's among my top ryes of the year, particularly given its cost.
