The fifth bottling in the brand's limited edition Barrel Finish Series, Templeton Rye Tequila Cask Finish, is a collaboration with Tequila Corralejo. The process starts with American straight rye (95% rye, 5% malted barley) aged at least six years in American oak. This rye then undergoes a 3-6 month finishing period in former Tequila Corralejo 99,000 Horas Extra Añejo Tequila barrels. Global production was limited to 4,200 casks, with availability commencing in September 2023 at a suggested retail price of $49.99.

A caramel aroma leads to gentle sweetness and mild pepper. It's flavorful and complex. The initial sip is a bit intense and very spicy, but subsequent sips become much smoother, leaning towards more sweetness. It's an unusual but pleasant experience.
