The palate and finish are overpoweringly sweet with cinnamon. It's the least enjoyable of 60 bourbons and ryes I've tasted, and the price is outrageous! For a superior non-traditional bourbon from the Northwest, try Woodinville, although its sweetness is also a bit much for my preference, just not quite as much. It appears to be sourced from MGP (with a lack of transparency contributing to a class action lawsuit), and given its sweet character, which bears some resemblance to Woodinville's, it was probably aged in Portland, OR.

Sweetness hits first, reminiscent of confection or a sugar-laden beverage. It then develops a buttery character before shifting to a bold, assertive spicy profile.
Vanilla and a touch of spice upfront. Palate offers a subtle fruitiness, like pear, which is lighter than expected for a bourbon. Lingering cinnamon with a hint of warmth.
It's an acceptable beverage. It has character, and you can detect peppery notes towards the end. It's easy to drink. A bit expensive, in my opinion.
Pleasant and full of character, delivering the expected bourbon taste. It's a bit rough, and you can find better for the cost.
Bull Run Bourbon, aged four years, is sweet, but the rye component leaves a dry finish.
