Alta Hoffmann 4.0

NOSE Malt, golden raisins, honey, toasted bread, graham cracker, apricot, fruit nectar, oak, and a hint of leather. Extremely vibrant and intricate, with lighter golden and orchard fruits alongside mixed fruit nectar. PALATE Malt, biscuit-like, golden raisins, caramel icing, toasted bread, graham cracker, intricate orchard fruits (pears, apples, peaches), fruit nectar, oak, and a touch of spice. More intricate than the aroma, this 15-Year Old Muscat Cask is incredibly vibrant and flavorful. Remarkable. FINISH Medium to long duration -> White grape nectar, honey graham cracker, orchard fruit, and lightly spiced oak gradually disappear.

Pour from the Drammers Club online. Highly enjoyable. The Muscat casks imparted a floral quality to the Teeling's tropical fruit profile. Aroma: Floral, Citrus, Peach, White Chocolate, Honey, Figs, Raisins, Vanilla, Caramel, Marzipan, Guava, Passion Fruit, Bananas Taste: Honey, White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Pineapple, Mango, Citrus, Apricot, Caramel, Finish: Pineapple, Vanilla, Flowers, Citrus, Guava, Peach, Honey, Caramel, Passion Fruit, Papaya

Another success from an Irish producer. While Teeling might be considered average to poor distillers, they certainly excelled at selecting excellent casks from others. This particular expression has apparently aged entirely in rum casks. Honeyed grapefruit serves as the primary flavor combination. I enjoy it, but I believe the JJ Corry 16 year Flintlock surpasses it.

My recent tasting of this brand moved from the initial release to this fourth edition, which also prominently features stone fruits in its aroma. Each sip provides canned peaches in a creamy consistency with a touch of white pepper. The finish is similarly long, with cream and fruit, and more pepper. Delicious.

Ingrid Jolly 3.0

Meh, it was tasty and had good complexity, but nothing exceptional, especially considering the price.
