About this bottle

Teeling 1991 Vintage Reserve 30 Year Single Malt was distilled in 1991 by Teeling. Following initial maturation in ex-bourbon barrels, it spent over 9 years in ex-Sauternes wine casks. A portion of peated malt is included in the composition of this single malt. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, the whiskey was first available in November 2021 at the Dublin distillery and select local retailers. Other markets, including the US, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Australia, and specific Asian regions, received their allocations in January 2022. A total of 4000 bottles were produced.

Fruit jam with a golden hue in the glass. Smells like honey, lychees, sultanas, golden syrup, figs, oranges, walnuts, almonds, pineapples, quince jam, golden kiwis, white chocolate, and mint chocolate. Tastes of guava, sultanas, golden syrup, honey, caramel, vanilla, almonds, orange marmalade, walnuts, papayas, figs, key limes, and passion fruit. Finishes with figs, sultanas, golden raisins, walnuts, orange creamsicle, almond shortbread cookies, golden kiwis, pears, and dates.
