Arnold Donaldson 3.8

The aroma is gentle, with hints of straw, cereal, fresh fruit, oak, and vanilla. It's very subtle and not overpowering. As it airs, it develops a slightly sweeter, fruitier profile. The taste is similarly gentle, featuring notes of grain, dark chocolate, and oak. It's quite full-bodied but not overwhelming. Over time, fresh fruit notes emerge, but overall, it remains rather simple yet pleasing. The finish is of medium length, with lingering notes of dark chocolate and grain. It's very enjoyable to sip, although after 15 years, the flavors aren't the most intense. It would certainly benefit from a higher proof.

Nellie Bolden 3.5

A very nice, light Irish whiskey with subtle fruit and wheat characteristics.
