About this bottle
Tattersall Kernza Perennial Grain Whiskey is crafted using 100% Kernza, a grain that grows as a perennial wheatgrass. This sustainable spirit was developed through a partnership between the distillery, the University of Minnesota's Forever Green Initiative, and The Land Institute. Because Kernza is a perennial grain, it eliminates the need for annual replanting, thereby enhancing soil health. Following distillation, the whiskey underwent a 3-year aging process in virgin charred oak barrels. It is bottled at 90 proof and was slated for release online and at select retailers around Earth Day 2023 (April 22nd), with an SRP of $80.
