About this bottle
From the Château du Tariquet estate in Saint Amand, Bas-Armagnac, this Armagnac is made from 100% Folle Blanche grapes, a varietal once common before phylloxera. Using a continuous still, the spirit matures for a minimum of 12 years in French oak, initially in new barrels then older ones. It is bottled at 48.5% ABV, reflecting the cask strength. The Tariquet family has a history in the Pyrenees region.
