Nose: Caramel, apricot, pear drop sweets, floral. Palate: Green apple, peach, melon – very fruity. Caramel and some gristy notes. Finish: Medium. Cinnamon, ginger, oak, more fruit (leaning tropical). Toasted oak. 1 of 554 bottles. Distilled June 2, 2009. Bottled July 21, 2022. Bottled by Hannah Whisky Merchants Ltd. for their Dalgety range. Cask Nos: #800484 #800485 (ex-bourbon and virgin oak). Fruity, gristy, with a spicy finish and a drier mouthfeel. It carries the heritage of Whyte and Mackay but is much fuller with greater complexity. A delightful dram! Ranked joint last out of six drams, receiving 0% of the vote for favorite of the evening. 47% of attendees enjoyed the whisky.
