An intense Island Scotch Whisky from Talisker, bottled by Douglas Laing for their Provenance range. It was distilled on the Isle of Skye in November 2009 and aged for 7 years in a refill hoggie before being bottled in November 2016. 421 bottles were produced. The nose has notes of barley sweets and salty licorice. The palate is fresh, coastal, and spicy with notes of tangy peat and a hint of fruit. The finish is long and balanced with notes of toasted oak staves and earthy vanilla pod. November 2017 / August 2022
