About this bottle
The Distillers Edition, an annual limited release from Diageo, highlights select single malt Scotch whisky distilleries in its portfolio. Each bottling undergoes a secondary maturation in a chosen cask type. For this Talisker release, casks that previously held Amoroso sherry, a blend of oloroso and PX sherry, were utilized. The whisky, distilled in 2001, was bottled in 2012 at a proof of 91.6.
