It has a somewhat medicinal quality. I suppose there's a reason it can't be called tequila outside of Mexico. It doesn't taste like it.

About this bottle
Produced in the USA, Tailwinds Silver Blue Agave Spirit cannot be labeled as Tequila. Organically grown Weber Blue Agave Nectar from the northern Guadalajara region of Mexico is shipped to the distillery in Plainfield, Illinois. Following a 12-day slow fermentation, it undergoes distillation in small batches using a pot/column still. The unaged silver variety is lightly filtered before bottling.
