It's decent for the low cost. While I've sampled various agricoles, this marks my initial cachaca experience, and my perceptions are largely based on comparison to agricole rum. The aroma is sugarcane, primarily just sugar to my senses. It presents as more syrupy than an agricole scent, and is also smoother, more mellow, and somewhat creamy. It lacks the intensity of most agricoles and doesn't have the secondary tropical fruit notes found in them. There's a subtle undertone, reminiscent of plastic or artificial sweetener like vanilla frosting on mass-produced cupcakes. This isn't a negative critique, however. On the whole, it's quite pleasant, though it doesn't offer the 'nature in a glass' sensation I associate with agricole. Similarly, the taste is a muted agricole. The overall impression is diluted sugar water. Later, hints of honey emerge, along with something akin to a smooth, gentle graininess, similar to an Irish whiskey. Towards the conclusion, that artificial/plastic note reappears, adding a slight bitterness to the finish. It's not complex, but it is very enjoyable. Overall, much like the aroma, the flavor is less vibrant and intense than agricole, but the core sugarcane taste is present. I've used it in caipirinhas and also enjoy it in a "cachaca punch" (similar to a ti punch but with cachaca). On its own, the slightly artificial note diminishes the enjoyment somewhat, but it remains quite drinkable. With lime and sugar, it's completely solid. Had I tasted this without knowing its origin, I would have mistaken it for agricole blanc, and even now, with some distance, I might still think so. Ultimately, I wouldn't rate it as highly as any agricole I've had, but it's important to remember this liter cost $16, a considerable 30% less than the most affordable agricole I know. For crafting caipirinhas or mock ti punches, this value is undeniable. I might purchase it again and am keen to explore other cachacas to understand their differences.

Rich fresh sweet taste in this cachaça, together with a reasonable price tag, makes this one an almost unbeatable binge drinking Caipirinha master. If you need a great Caipirinha mixer, this is your choice.
This has become the go-to spirit for my boat trips. Like a sophisticated margarita. Add a little lime, some sugar… shake until it's too cold to hold and serve. Wonderful.
I can't help myself, I adore this cachaça; it's truly wonderful, with a stunning aroma and simply the best value for its price.
Suitable for drinks. It's overly sweet with floral notes and a touch of spice towards the end.
For the price, recommended. Unusual, in a good way.
