About this bottle
Tailwinds Distilling, founded by brothers Toby and Jamey Beall, honors their family's connection to American aviation. Their rums are produced using first-boil molasses, rather than blackstrap, which results in a fresher character closer to agricole. Taildragger Amber is placed directly into Kentucky rye barrels after distillation and ages for approximately eighteen months.

Rye, vanilla, and marshmallows. Reminds me of a unique candy bar. I'd forgotten about rum. So pleased to have rediscovered it.
