This Japanese whisky is a delightful bottle. There are four distinct labels: white, black, blue, and gold. While I'm uncertain if there are variations between them, the black label is exceptional. I still have a gold SR12 to open and another black SR12 en route from Japan, along with a blue label bottle. The SR15 is smoother, but the SR12 is still superior to Hibiki and comparable to Crest 12. It possesses a sweetness with a slightly more pronounced warmth than the SR15, yet remains very smooth. If you can acquire a bottle from Japan, I highly recommend purchasing it. The entire Suntory Royal range will not disappoint!
