This is a local product from San Diego County that I found a few months ago at Costco. There wasn't much information available about this whiskey, but I'm always pleased to support and try local products, so I decided to buy a bottle. Based on the limited information I found, it's an extremely small-batch, single-barrel product, and the final results seem to vary considerably. Onto the tasting: Initially, the nose has notes of model glue, then latex paint, and finally, faint berries. The palate has a rubbery, semi-sweet corn syrup taste. The finish is medium in length and somewhat spicy. It's not the worst whiskey I've ever tasted, but it's not very good either.
