It possesses a pleasant body, likely from the 46% ABV, and features a pleasingly sherry-influenced finish. The spirit is prominent, not overwhelmed by the cask. It’s a very well-poised, nearly traditional, whisky. Pleasant and simple to drink. Ranked first among the six whiskies tasted, securing 27% of the final vote for the favorite of the evening. 73% of attendees indicated they liked the whisky.
