About this bottle

Stranahan's oldest American single malt to date, this 12-year-old release is the latest batch in its Mountain Angel series. The Colorado-made single malt is produced using 100% local barley and Rocky Mountain water. It spends 12 years in new, charred American oak barrels—with some experiencing up to an 80% angel's share—and is then finished in port wine casks. The spirit, bottled at 94.6 proof, will be available in limited quantities starting January 2026 for $99.99.

Everette Prince 3.8

A nose of honey and floral notes. The palate has some familiar notes of baking spice and caramel, with softened edges. The finish is smoother at the back with a peppery sensation left on the tongue. The smoothness at the back indicates the aging, but there's the spice of fresh oak barrels at the front.
