Good for a young whiskey. The use of smaller barrels imparts more flavor in less time (obviously, it's a shortcut and not the same as traditional barrel aging). This batch features prominent vanilla, some oak, and brown spices. Quite smooth. Needs more time, but it's very drinkable.

The nose is unappealing, no finish, no spice, improved with water/ice, and unmemorable.

Satisfactory. Could benefit from additional aging, but it is quite smooth. Made entirely from rye.
