Stockholms Bränneri Dry Gin

This limited production Dry Gin from Stockholms Bränneri Distillery, located on Södermalm island in Stockholm, Sweden, is meticulously made in a traditional 1200-liter copper still using organic ingredients sourced from the Nordic region. The botanicals include juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, lemon peel, heather, elderflower, and rosemary. The initial aroma presents hints of citrus, berries, botanicals, and spices, followed by a bright palate that concludes with a medium-length floral finish. May 2022

Consumed with Schweppes tonic. A lovely floral and botanical aroma with rosemary and blossom notes. It's refreshing with the tonic, continuing the floral and botanical character, with the elderflower becoming more noticeable. A less bitter tonic, perhaps Fever Tree Indian, could be a better match.

Suuuuper smooth and easy drinking. Gin and tonics go down like delicious water. Not as good as Fainting Goats Emulsion but a great local alternative.

Incredibly smooth and easy to drink, but a bit too subtle for cocktails. Best enjoyed on its own.

The finest gin I have ever sampled. Subtle juniper presence. Flavors of lemon and elderflower.

To me, it drinks like a vodka, not a gin; the elderflower is completely absent.
