Still Austin The Artist Straight Rye Whiskey

An exquisite, pure Rye Whiskey made with Brasetto Rye grown entirely in Texas, matured for two years in American white oak casks before being bottled at 99.6 proof. It begins aromatically with hints of grain, wood, fruit, herbs, and spices; its balanced middle develops notes of caramel, rye, citrus, apricot, cherry, and figs with honey; culminating in a complex, medium-length finish with hints of oak, coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, and clove.

A vibrant whiskey with a bright arrival, reminiscent of holiday baking spices and fruitcake. The spice is striking, continuing into a very enduring finale. The body is quite thick, featuring many sharp, ginger-like top notes. An enjoyable rye, it's a perfect companion to Still Austin’s straight bourbon. A fantastic spirit in mixed drinks, it's also enjoyable neat or with a little water.

Dark amber color, very pleasantly smooth rye spice with a slightly hot finish. Surprisingly quite good, as I wasn't expecting that. But I do like it!

Likely the finest Rye I have ever experienced. In a blind tasting, I am amazed to find out this is a Texas Rye. Great mouthfeel. Great flavor.

Orange, citrus rye nose. Orange oils, fresh mint, eucalyptus, rye grains, and young oak. Easy to drink. Well-balanced, beautiful rye.

Deeply intense and multi-layered. Sipping it neat, this one is just too harsh for my palate. It would make a nice rye for mixing.
