This whisky is produced from 100% barley, locally cultivated in West Jutland and floor-malted at the distillery. It is smoked using locally sourced peat and heather before undergoing double distillation in small, flame-heated pot stills. The spirit is matured in first-fill wine and spirits casks. Bottled at 47% ABV, it became available in the US in September 2021.

The aroma is a mix of fruit and honey beneath hickory, charcoal, and peat. The palate is surprisingly sweet, with prominent honey and vanilla flavors supported by milder spice and peat notes. The finish increases the spice a bit, followed by a slightly bitter smoky taste.
A strong campfire scent on the nose, with the smoke lasting throughout. It's a bit young and grassy, but a decent, average smoky whisky.
Vanilla and dried fruit on the nose. Campfire smoke on the first taste, which then softens a bit. There's an alcoholic burn. The finish is oily and slightly lingering.
Smoky wood on the nose reminds me of a barbecue. The tasting notes present a complicated blend of sweet and spicy elements.
Sweet and intensely salty. Quite unlike a traditional Islay, but in a good way. 23-23-22-22=90
Very smooth - a touch of peat and richer flavor - slightly too much like bourbon for my preference, but still enjoyable.
