It has some of that signature dry oak, yet it's unexpectedly sweet. Big, jammy dark fruit and plum flavors are framed by the usual rye notes of black/green tea and spearmint. Hints of maple are present. The finish brings back that dry oak taste, but it remains well-balanced. I'm a fan.
