Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Prominent fruit notes, primarily apricot and raisin, with hints of caramel and bread. Palate: Clove and cinnamon with some sweet fruit notes. Finish: Medium in length with moderate warmth. Splash: Bread and apricot aromas return. Overall: 9/10 - I'm not typically a fan of rye whiskeys (finished or otherwise), but this one is spot on. The finish is slightly short for a 107.3 proof spirit.
