Staoisha 8 Year Old 2013, Bunnahabhain (casks 900052 & 900059) (Signatory, Un-Chilfiltered Collection)

Smelling wood smoke, ash, and nuts. Tasting of wet peat, malt, tropical fruit, wood, and charred oak. The finish is enduring with smoke, sweetness, cherries, and peat. It's light and smooth, surprisingly so for a heavily peated spirit. A lovely dram, quite fruity and smoky. Excellent and a good value!
